How to Convert DVD to iPod on Windows

We have talked about how to convert DVD to iPod on Mac, therefore, this article will focus on how to achieve this on Windows. Since there are so many video converters, I would like to take DVD to iPad Converter as an example. The whole article contains five steps.
1. Install DVD to iPad Converter
Download Website: http://convert-dvd-ipad.com/download.php

2. Add DVD

Run Socusoft DVD to iPad Converter, click “Open DVD” button to import the DVD. You also can preview the video in the built-in mini player.

3. Customize output video parameters
(1)Choose the output format

Click ”Profile” box, choose the appropriate item in the “Apple iPod” list.
(2)Do some basic edition
I have talked about this aspect in details before, please refer to How to Do Some Basic Video Edition with DVD to iPad Converter.
(3)Choose the output file folder
Click the “Options” button to reset the output file folder for personal preference.

4. Start to convert
Click “Start Encode” button to start the DVD to iPod conversion.

5. Find the output video
After the conversion is completed absolutely, click the “Folder” button to find them. Then you can sync the converted DVD to iPod with iTunes.

You can enjoy DVD on your iPod wherever you go with the only five steps.

How to Burn Videos to DVD with Windows DVD Maker

Have you ever used Windows DVD Maker? It is a total freeware. This article will show you how to burn videos to DVD with Windows DVD Maker in details.
As we all know, Windows DVD Maker is a great application to burn pictures and video to DVD discs. However, as a Windows built-in program, DVD Maker supports very limited video formats, such as avi, mpg, m1v, mpeg, mpe, mpv2, wm, wmv, dvr-ms, wtv and asf. If your videos aren’t belonging to any formats listed above, you have to convert them to the appropriate formats. So I will take DVD to iPad Converter and Windows DVD Maker as examples to show the whole process of converting and burning step by step.

How to Convert Videos to AVI

1. Download and Install DVD to iPad Converter
Download website: http://convert-dvd-ipad.com/download.php

2. Add videos into the Video Converter
Click the “Add Video” button to import resource files. Alternatively, you can drag and drop video files to the main panel of the converter.

3. Choose Output Format
From the “Profile” drop-down list, choose “Customized AVI Movie (*.avi)” as the output format.
Note: You need to set the “video codec” to “msmpeg4v2″ in order to get the converted avi files successfully imported into Photo DVD Burner.

4. Start the conversion
Click the “Start Encode” button to start the conversion. Then click the “Folder”botton to find the output files.

How to Burn Converted AVI videos to DVD
After the source files are converted into AVI video, launch the Windows DVD Maker, and import the avi files.

1. Add videos to Windows DVD Maker

Click the “Add items” button to import the AVI files. Then hit the “Next” to process the burning.

2. Customize the output details

You can do the customization shown on the above screenshot according to your personal preference.

3. Start to burn videos to DVD
Click the “Burn” button to burn the videos to the disc inserted into the disc drive previously.

How to Burn Youtube Videos to DVD

Have you ever thought of keeping your treasured Youtube video on DVD? When I come across some favorite videos, I usually come out such idea. So I would like to share my burning experience with you. The following is a guide in details. A video converter and DVD burner are necessary for the whole process. I will take Clone2Go Free Video Converter and Photo DVD Burner as example.
1.    Download and Install Free Video Converter
Download website: http://www.clone2go.com/video-converter/
2.    Import Youtube video into the Free Video Converter
Click the “Add Video” button to import resource files. Alternatively, you can drag and drop video files to the main panel of Free Video Converter.
3.    Choose Output Format
From the “Profile” drop-down list, choose “Customized AVI Movie (*.avi)” as the output format.
Note: You need to set the “video codec” to “msmpeg4v2″ in order to get the converted avi files successfully imported into Photo DVD Burner.
4.    Start to Convert Youtube video to AVI
Click the “Start Encode” button to start to convert Youtube video to AVI.
5.    Burn Converted AVI to DVD in Photo DVD Burner
After the source files are converted into AVI video, you can launch Photo DVD Burner and import the avi files for burning to DVD.
(1)    Launch Photo DVD Burner
(2)    Import AVI video
Click “Organize->Add Video Clips…” to input the video resource.
(3)    Burn video to DVD
Click the “3 Burn Disc” button to go into the burning surface.
(4)    Choose the Output Format
Choose the “DVD Video Disc” from the Output Format drop-down list.
(5)    Start to burn
Click the “Burn Now” button to start the burning. After the whole process is completed absolutely, you can enjoy your DVD.
