This step-by-step tutorial show how to sync movies, DVDs and other videos to iPad.
iPad is not only a great music player, ebook reader, and gaming device, but also perfect portable video player. The iPad’s big, crystal clear screen makes watching video on it an excellent visual experience.
Step 1. Connect iPad with your computer and launch iTunes and Click “File > Add File to Library” to add videos to iTunes library.

Step 2. From LIBRARY section of iTunes source list, click “Movies”, and you will see the movies you just added.
Step 3. Select iPad in DEVICES section of iTunes source list. Drag the movie you want to transfer to iPad in library list and drop to iPad Movies. You will see the video in iPad Movies list and at the same time iTune will sync the newly added video to your iPad automatically.
Tips:
- To delete movies on iPad, please select iPad Movies in DEVICES section of iTunes source list, right click the movie you want to delete and click “Delete“.
- Please note that iPad only supports H.264/MPEG-4 video in MP4/MOV format. If you want to sync DVD or other video files to your iPad, you need to use DVD to iPad Converter (http://convert-dvd-ipad.com/) to convert these videos to iPad compatible video format first.
